Emily Cox is the Team Lead for Microchem’s Custom Team. Originally from The Woodlands, Texas, Emily graduated from Baylor University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Biology.
Emily has been with Microchem since January 2020, starting on our Disinfectants and Sanitizers Team. She took the initiative to transfer to Microchem’s Virology department as the demand for virucidal testing grew during to the pandemic. Following a year and a half as a Virology Analyst, Emily was promoted to Custom Team Lead as a result of her excellent performance and dedication to Microchem during a crucial time. As Custom Tema Lead, Emily works with her team to provide a wide range of highly customized testing to help companies understand more about how their antimicrobial products/devices perform against microorganisms.
Emily, what does ‘Science for Good’ mean to you?
