Associate Analyst – Microbiology

Location: Round Rock, Texas – Reports to: Team Lead

This is a bench microbiology position with some basic chemistry and physical analysis duties. Approximately 70% of time is spent in the laboratory testing the performance of products such as disinfectants, medical devices, and cosmetics, as well as assisting with general laboratory operations. Approximately 25% of time is spent doing desk work, typically setting up studies with clients and writing reports. Approximately 5% of time is spent doing a wide variety of tasks that a small company needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in a Biological Science.
  • Good technical knowledge of microbiology and/or chemistry theory and practice.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work cooperatively with others in a small-company environment.
  • Ability to provide excellent, consistent customer service.
