Microchem Laboratory’s chemistry testing lab is a roughly 6,000-square-foot facility located in a modern technology complex in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Outfitted with a full suite of analytical instrumentation, the lab supports a wide range of chemical testing needs, including the analysis of OTC drugs, dietary supplements, personal care products, and medical devices.

The laboratory is equipped with six high-performance liquid chromatographs (HPLCs) and a diverse selection of advanced analytical instruments, including:

• Gas Chromatography (GC) – For separating and analyzing volatile compounds
• Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) – For identifying functional groups in raw materials and formulations
• Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) – For detecting trace elements and heavy metals at sub-ppb levels
• UV-Visible Spectrophotometry (UV-Vis) – For quantifying active ingredients, preservatives, and colorants
• Karl Fischer Titration – For precise water content determination in finished products and raw materials

The laboratory also features several exhaust hoods to facilitate the safe handling of volatile substances, along with high-precision balances for accurate sample preparation and weight measurements. This combination of state-of-the-art instrumentation and controlled testing environments allows Microchem to provide reliable, regulatory-compliant analytical results with a focus on accuracy and reproducibility.
