Victoria Zarate received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Texas State University. Victoria now serves as the Virology Team Lead for Microchem.
Raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Victoria made her way back to her hometown of Austin, Texas, and since 2017, she has played a role in Microchem’s success. She started as an Associate Analyst on the Disinfectant and Sanitizer Team and quickly became a Study Director due to her diligence and perseverance. At the end of 2019, she became an Analyst II and was then promoted to Team Lead of Virology in 2020. As Team Lead, Victoria brings a variety of technical skills and an understanding of antimicrobial regulations to virucidal testing. She has undeniable determination and willingness to put in the extra effort for test studies while upholding the highest degree of quality, and that is clear within each of the roles she has held at Microchem.
